How Does Group Finder Work?
Group Finder works by partnering you with other players who are trying to play multiple missions or who want to play in a group.
How to Use Public Groups
You can choose to create your own group or join someone else’s.
To create a public group:
- Open your Quests and Socials menu
- Select the “Social” tab
- Select “Group”
From here, you can either select “Create Public Group” or “Join Public Group.”
Both Creating and Joining a group use the same search options:
- Location
- Any
- Venture Farming
- Danger Level
- Any
- 1-3
- 4-5
What can I do while searching for others?
The Group Leader will need to stay on the Belfry or in the map (wherever the group was initiated) while their group is public, and they will be warned that the group will be made private if they leave their current location.
How do I make my group private?
As the Group Leader, you can make your group private using the button below:
What happens to current group members if I make my group private?
All players in the group will remain in the group.
Can I kick someone from my group?
If you are the Group Leader, you can highlight then select the player’s name on the group page and then select “Kick From Group.”
How do I become Group Leader?
You can become Group Leader by either creating a group or by having the current Group Leader highlight and select your name in the Group Menu and selecting the option “Make Leader.”
How do I know if I’m the Group Leader?
If you are the group’s leader, a crown icon will appear by your Gamertag in the Group Menu. The crown is visible to all party members.
What does the Group Leader do?
All other players in a group use the Group Leader’s map. The Group Leader can start matchmaking. Other players can explore the Group Leader’s map and will need to ready up when it’s time to begin a mission.
How do I leave a group?
You can leave a group by either going to the Game Menu > Settings > Menu and selecting “Leave Group” or in the Socials Menu where you can see your whole group, select your own name in the Group tab, and click the “Leave Group” option.
